The Mere class is for those children who are aged 5-6 and are in their final year at Soen English Preschool. This is a full time course (23 hours per week). Year three continues with the Reading and Language program, further develops the math program and introduces a Social Studies program. Students will be invited to sit the Cambridge Young Learners of English Starters Exam in February of each year.
Our math program introduces various math concepts through games, songs, manipulatives, worksheets, readers as well as take home activities. Lots of fun.
The Social Studies program looks at school, why we have rules, our place on Earth, families, people around the world, customs and jobs. Our Japanese culture is positively compared with other cultures.
